Can the blurred or pixelated parts be recovered?
Not from the file you download — the original pixels are destroyed during export, not covered by an overlay. For maximum certainty with sensitive documents, use the Black box mode, which replaces the area with solid colour.
Why is redacting in a photo editor sometimes unsafe?
Some tools draw the mask as a separate layer, or the original survives inside the file's metadata or a thumbnail. SqueezePix re-encodes a flattened image with metadata stripped, so there's no hidden copy left behind.
How do I hide several things in one photo?
