Frequently asked questions
What can someone learn from a photo I share?
Often the exact GPS coordinates where it was taken, the date and time, and the phone or camera used. Posting a photo taken at home can therefore reveal your address — which is why this tool shows you first, then links you to the stripper.
My photo shows no metadata — is something wrong?
No. Screenshots, images already stripped, and photos re-saved by many messaging apps carry no EXIF at all. An empty result means there's nothing to leak.
Does opening the map share my photo?
No. The map link sends only the coordinates to OpenStreetMap in a new tab — the photo itself is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. SqueezePix runs entirely in your browser — files are opened and processed on your own device and never transmitted anywhere. You can even load the page, go offline, and keep working.
