Frequently asked questions

My photo looks dull — which sliders should I try first?

Nudge contrast up (+10 to +25), then saturation (+10 to +20), and warm it slightly (+10). Small moves go a long way; use the before/after divider to sanity-check against the original.

What does the warmth slider change?

It shifts the colour temperature: positive values add red/yellow for a warmer, golden feel; negative values add blue for a cooler look — handy for fixing photos taken under artificial light.

Do the adjustments reduce image quality?

The maths runs at full resolution on your original pixels, and dimensions never change. Extreme settings can clip very bright or dark areas, which is visible in the preview before you download.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. SqueezePix runs entirely in your browser — files are opened and processed on your own device and never transmitted anywhere. You can even load the page, go offline, and keep working.
